(Weblogs enhancing EFL students' English language learning)

     Hi Guys!!! This is my 2nd Learning Log of this subject. Today, I am going to talk about Weblogs enhancing EFL students' English language learning. At the my 2nd blog or 
1st Learning Log, I have already talked about Weblogs for Use with ESL Classes, if you need to know about it, you can read at my 2nd blog. 

     According to Usa Noytim's research article: Weblogs enhancing EFL students' English language learning, there are many advantages of using weblogs for EFL student. 

1. Weblogs provide opportunities for real communication in an authentic learning environment. 
2. Weblogs raise an awareness of having an authorship and a readership. 
3. Weblogs enhance reading comprehension, improve students' writing skills and abilities, provide an exciting and motivating learning environment in reading and writing for learners and promote learner autonomy. 
4. Weblog also offer an online alternative logs. 
5. Weblogs enhance student analytical and critical thinking skills.
6.Weblogs offer real communication. 

     And from the findings can answers these three questions 
1. What is the extent of students' knowledge and experience of Weblogs? 
     Many students commented that they can gained extensive knowledge and experiences from Weblog use. 

2.What are students' perceptions of use of Weblogs? 
     They viewed Weblogs as a medium of self-expression online. Weblogs offered opportunities for writing and reading practice and communicating with other people. Moreover, many students asserted that Weblogs fostered their creative, analytical and critical skills.

3.What are students' attitudes towards use of Weblogs? 
     Overall, students were positive about Weblog use and the course. Even though, there are many advantages of weblog, there are some minor limitations of Weblog use such as Internet access, digital divide, technological skills, limited English language competence and a physical-related problem(sore eyes when reading online).
